Use "Windows Installer Cleanup" to remove any knowledge Windows has of the software. Then remove any files relating to the software. The re-install.

As much as your CPU would allow. LFS is heavily CPU-dependent, so if LFS performance is what you're after you should prioritize getting a decent CPU. Although, it being a Quadro-card i guess it would degrade your performance a bit, so I would get a consumer-grade card instead if i were you.

Just a profile that rises clocks and puts AA and AF on.

I use the max quality D3D-profile that comes with ATT for most of my games. I just set up Game profiles so that the correct profile loads before tha game starts.

Deggis, stop embarrassing yourself. You said you would plug a computer directly into the DSL-modem? You would cough into open wounds to wouldn't you? All you need to be safe is a NAT-Router and a semi-working brain.

NOD32 with the real-time checking disabled. Unless your system's acting up you don't need to run constant scans of every file that's accessed or created. It's not to good on the drives either, having to waste time reading everything twice.

I refuse to play Starforce-infested demos.
